                                                Q - What can I refer?

A - You can refer any properties as an active licensee: For Sale By Owner, New Homes, Referrals, negotiate the sale of a listed property for referral commissions.

 

Q – Can I refer outside of Florida?

A – You can refer any property in the United States.


Q – How does a referral work?

A – You send the contact information for the buyer or seller to our office or you may send it to another real estate office of your choice to sell or list properties. Home Wise Realty Group, Inc. has a generous referral for Realty International Agents which can be 70% to 80%.


Q – How does activating my license without being a member of a Board of Realtors help me qualify for my Broker’s license?

A – Board membership is not a state requirement to qualify to get your Real Estate Broker’s license.  You are required to hold an active real estate associates license under an active broker and complete 24 months real estate experience.  Realty International USA allows you to become an active licensee for only $99 a year to help you with the experience end of the qualification.  You can conduct real estate transactions without being a Board Member.


Q – Can I access MLS?

A – No, when you are not a board member, you cannot access MLS.



Q – I have a client who wants to list a property.  How do I list it if I am not a MLS subscriber (board member)?

A – You cannot list the property yourself when you are active with Realty International USA.  You can refer it to an agent of your choice with a referral agreement and still get paid on the sale of the property.  You can work out the referral with that agent. Home Wise Realty Group, Inc. has generous referral rates.


Q – Can I list my own property and get paid a commission on the sale?

A – Refer to the prior question about listing a property.  Yes, you can get paid a referral commission on the sale of your own property.

Q – If I sign up, am I a Realtor?

A – You are an active licensee, or licensed real estate agent with the state and may use the title of Real Estate Agent.  As a non-board member, you are not a REALTOR® and you cannot use the title of being a REALTOR® or use the logo of REALTOR®.   Only real estate licensees who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® are properly called REALTORS®.


Q – If I cannot use the title of Realtor, what can I list as title for the purpose of business cards and marketing?

A – You are a licensed real estate agent within the state of Florida and may use the title of Real Estate Agent and any marketing materials must contain the company logo.  The state requires that you have an active real estate license to transact real estate business.  The state does not require you to be a member of any board to do business.

Q – Where can I access the necessary forms to transact business?

A – You will be told how to access our resources and forms when you come aboard Realty International USA, Inc. 

Q – When does the year start, from sign up or according to a calendar year?

A – Your anniversary date for renewal is based on the sign up date.  No extra fees for the new year.

Q – If I choose to activate my license with Realty International USA, am I locked into a no-compete contract?

A – No, you are not locked into a no compete clause and are free to move your license at any time.
